A Tale of Two Platforms

Tried putting thoughts about tabletop gaming out into the world previously, on a different platform, but the sheeple weren’t ready for my hot takes / I didn’t really have much steam at the time I guess.
Little to say today except “here we go” and “watch this space”. I would leave it at that, but as a Grob-fearing tabletop person, I firmly believe in paying my Joesky Tax. If you’re unfamiliar, I linked it down there..
The White Alligator God
For Into the Odd/CRAWL
Once worshipped and pampered at the temple by the river. The priests would catch wild alligators and bring them to their god for a blessing - it’s said alligators blessed in this way will never harm a person. One day, an avaricious priest stole the god’s shed teeth and made a crown from them. When the god learned of this, it called a flood to drown the priests and submerge the temple. It lurks in those waters to this day…
HP 18, BOD 20, WIL 12, Chomp d10, Tail Smack d8, Death Roll d10
Enraged in the presence of priests or clerics of any kind
Soothed by the music of fretted string instruments
Zealously guards the crown of teeth in a submerged chamber of the temple
In an emergency, calls every alligator within 10 miles to its side
Last Things Last
Said I was done but I lied. I also firmly believe in spreading the Good News of other creators’ work in the field of tabletop games, so here are three posts I vibed with this week. Note: these are posts I read this week, they didn’t necessarily come out this week.
Directions in an Empty Place, from Wizard Thief Fighter.
Navigating Paintings - a review of the Rogue Trader CRPG, from False Machine.
West of Lune, from Shadow & Fae.
If I say why I liked them then you might not read them. Go check ‘em out.
